I’ve been there. For 25 years, I led teams at CNN, Oracle, and high-growth startups. Eventually I realized being a "doer" and "fixer" had become a bottleneck to my own professional growth, as well as my team's velocity and business outcomes. Instead, I had to embrace being the more future-focused leader that the business actually needed.   


In 2026, I retired from design management to focus exclusively on coaching tech leaders transitioning into senior/executive roles, and startup founders scaling from "small and scrappy" to scalable growth.

  

Using an approach I've been developing called the "Leveraged Leader" framework, my goal is to help you pivot from doing to leading, ensure your team is moving toward the same North Star, and reclaim more of your own time for high-impact strategic work.
